I am a regular at BBQ shack, I'm there at least weekly. They have THEE best barbeque I have had in my entire life. Be sure to get the brisket when you visit, it melts in your mouth. I usually get the buster boy sandwich when I go. Trust me, you will not go wrong with any meal you order. They are priced decently also.

This restaurant is one of, if not the best BBQ joint around. Every thing is good so you can't go wrong with anything. The brisket is absolutely amazing. If you get a sandwich make it a macdaddy! The BBQ is also fabulous as well as the turkey. They also have ribs on Friday which are some of the best I've ever had. Their sides are pretty good too. The collards are amazing and so is their homemade potaoe salad. They do sell out so I recommend calling before hand to see if they are open. You are missing out if you do not give this place a try. also I recommend takeout because there is not much seating.

WOW! Best BBQ in town! Don't let the outside fool you. Yes, it does look like a normal house on the outside but take the risk and go in. It is well worth it. We tried the sampler to get a taste of their turkey, pulled pork and brisket. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Baked beans(AMAZING), Mac and cheese, and the coleslaw were so good. The bake beans were some of the best we have ever had. If you are looking "Your" BBQ spot then you found it.

Went on a Wednesday around noon and loved seeing people sitting out on the front porch and enjoying lunch in the gorgeous spring air. I frequent family-owned bbq spots around Hampton Roads and lawd have mercy, we have a winner. Ribs and pulled pork were incredible and better than Jack's BBQ in Nashville, which I thought was impossible. Brisket was a tiny bit dry but the sauces easily handled that. I've had better cornbread but it was still above average. Well-earned 5 stars and service was very friendly even with a line and phone constantly ringing for togo orders. You will not regret eating here.

Awesome Brisket sandwich. The coleslaw is really good too. I have a new favorite BBQ place when I travel to Norfolk.
